JELCZ 442.35 “Bartek” is a medium off-road two-axle 4x4 truck, designed by the Polish company “JELCZ” for use by the Polish Armed Forces. Serial production and supply to formation units started in the second half of 2014. The design work started in 2011 and the experience, gained during the operation of several copies of "JELCZ" P442 D.28, which were served to the Polish Army, was used. The new "JELCZ" was presented for the first time in 2013 at the International Defense Industry Salon in Kielce. On January 30, 2013 the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense ordered “Bartek” medium-class trucks for the Polish Armed Forces for the amount of 400 million zloty (for which at least 866 trucks were to be purchased, of which 691 were to be standard platform trucks, 175 were to be chassis for the installation of various equipment). All trucks were to be delivered by the end of 2018. A new batch of trucks was ordered in 2022.

A sizable, angular, well-designed, moderately detailed (includes cabin equipment, well-restored chassis, engine-only parts, visible from underneath, well-detailed cargo platform) model, that even an advanced beginner or less-experienced modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will stick together nicely. True, it is advisable for them to do the interior equipment of the cabin as a test: it will work - we glue the full version, if it doesn't work - we make the windows opaque.
