Tatra 148 - Czechoslovak truck with a 6x6 or 4x4 chassis with a carrying capacity of 12 tons, in 1972-1982 produced in the national company "Tatra". In 1969 a modernized version of the car began production, designated the T 148. They were an update of the T 138 series, which replaced the 148 version, and many variants were produced. Designers eliminated the causes of some failures of T 138 cars, increased engine power, speed and reliability. Off-road driving is mostly possible thanks to the relatively high ground clearance of 290 mm, and the relatively small turning radius is also a plus.
A beautiful, complex, well-designed model of a fire service truck with a PVP-27 high-altitude lift, that can be made to work - lift and swivel. The model is only intended for intermediate and advanced modellers as it features everything possible in 1:32 scale. In addition to the lift boom, there are more "working" details - extendable support legs, rotating wheels, controllable front wheels, opening doors and hood... The publication includes a sheet for glazing the windows of transparent thin plastic. The instructions, both graphical and textual (in Czech), are quite extensive and detailed.
