In 1956 the prototype of the "STAR-25" truck was presented, which was the result of many years of work by the Construction Bureau of the Motorization Industry in Warsaw. The goal of these works was a new car, that would replace the "STAR 20" trucks, produced since 1948. This prototype is equipped with a new two-seater wagon type K26 cabin, which differed from the previous ones is improved acoustic and thermal insulation, better heating and a wider view from the driver's seat. The car was powered by a prototype 6-cylinder in-line gasoline engine S470 with a working capacity of 4196 cubic cm, producing a power of 69.8 kW (95 h. p.). The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The carrying capacity of the prototype "STAR 25" reached 4000 kg. Due to technical and financial possibilities, serial production of the car was significantly delayed and started only in 1960. However the cabin of the serial truck was simplified and cost less, some aggregates were changed (engine S472 with the same parameters, electric turn lights, central wiper motor, other changes were installed). Later the car was improved and new parts were added, new versions were built (in 1961 - "STAR 25 Tropic", in 1964 - modernized "STAR 25M1"). Many specialized vehicles have been built on the basis of the truck chassis - van, street sweepers, garbage trucks, sand spreaders, mobile cranes, concrete trucks, fire trucks, car transporters and even buses.

Complex, well-designed and quite detailed "STAR C-25 LOHR" car transporter with five light cars of Polish production "Syrena 104", loaded on the trailer. The model features excellent detailing of the cab (both - truck and cars), chassis, tires, transmission, trailer and exterior of the cars. In passenger cars the engine and trunk sections are not detailed, in the truck the engine is partially detailed - only the details, are visible from below. The model is intended only for intermediate and experienced modelers, although the "lightweights" can be perfectly glued by an advanced beginner modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. By the way, such a model can be exhibited in the competition as a separate model.
