ZIL-131 - Soviet truck, manufactured at the Lichachiov factory in 1966 - 2002. Engine V8 shape 6 liters working capacity. All wheels were driven (6x6), power from the engine is transmitted to the axles through a 5-speed gearbox. Later model - ZIL-157. Initially these trucks were used as a military version of the ZIL-130. Later a wider range of uses appeared: garbage truck, cistern, tractor-trailer, tow truck, fire truck, etc. These cars in the fire-fighting version were widely used in the Lithuanian SSR and for quite a long time after the restoration of independence.
A large, complex, richly detailed and well-designed car model for intermediate and advanced modelers. It recreates everything, that can be recreated in 1:25 scale: cab equipment, chassis, suspension, transmission, wheels, fire fighting equipment, exterior details. Only with the engine and its orgtechnic - a problem: it has been restored only as much, as can be seen from below. So, You will have to make a model with a non-opening hood. There is no stock of colors, but they can be "combined" from the other sides of the part pasting areas. In order to convert this model into a "Lithuanian" one, it will not take much work - paint the number on the door and replace the inscription on the white strip with Lithuanian. It will also be necessary to change the registration number plates and paint Lithuanian symbols of affiliation on the doors. So, You will have to rely on historical photos.
