The Neo-Gothic style parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the town of Porambka in the Silesian Voivodeship was built in 1904-1907 and in 1909 a separate Roman Catholic parish appeared in Porambka. The church is built of hewn field stones, one nave with a 43 meter high tower, located in the center of the main facade. Since 1912 this tower has a clock with dials on all four sides. The main altar of the church is in the Renaissance style and is older, than the building itself - it is likely that it originally stood in the church of the nearby town of Kenty. Side altars in neo-Gothic style are made of wood. The so-called post-conciliar altar in the sanctuary was built only in 1995. In the mid-eighties of the 20th century the church was decorated with stained glass windows. The church is rich in liturgical vessels, made in the 20th century at the beginning: a cup and a liturgy cup, made in 1906, production monstrance’s of the same year. But much of the shrine's wealth was looted during World War II.
A simple, but beautiful church model for modelers of all experience. The model fully reproduces the beauty of this outwardly modest church and can be perfectly assembled even by a modeler with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. And experienced modelers, based on photos of the original building, can create a real masterpiece. I got to see a model with interior equipment, "burning" candles, stained-glass windows (which, by the way, can be printed on transparent film, downloaded from the publisher's website (for free)), with clocks, showing the exact time in Poland...
