Frombork Cathedral is one of the largest sacred buildings in Central Europe. It is 90 m long and 16.5 m wide. It is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The building has an irregular quadrangular shape with several extensions, delivered to the 10 m high walls. It was built between 1329 and 1388. How much later was the chapel built. The additions of the side altars - sesnates - and some elements of the interior layout - were presented. Externally, despite the baroque addition - Bishop Szembek's chapel - the building has preserved its original Gothic appearance. In the Middle Ages, the Diocese of Warmia was like a kind of state within the Teutonic state. Those lands were constantly threatened by the attacks of the Prussian tribes or the intrigues of the brothers of the order themselves, who could not tolerate the existence of an independent principality in their occupied territories. At first, Frombork was the property of the Bishops of Warmia, but from 1320 it passed into the hands of the Chapter of Warmia. This city was the capital of Warmia. Since the end of the 15th century, Frombork has been the cradle of Polonistics in Warmia - a number of Polish symbols - eagles and coats of arms - can be seen in the ornamentation of the Cathedral. The bishops residing here were passionate patriots, supporters of Polish rights in these troubled lands. The bishops helped Poland not only with prayers, in 1465 the Chapter of Warmia sold the jewels of the Cathedral in order to use the funds received to fight against the Teutonic State. Also, during the "influx of the Swedes", in order to support RTN, she handed over precious things to its rulers - crosses, cups, lictors, pastorals. Many canons of Frombork made significant contributions to the development of Polish science and culture.

A beautiful model of the Cathedral of medium complexity, which even advanced modelers can freely assemble under the supervision of a more experienced modeler, but it should not be one of the first more complex models. Well, an experienced modeler with two or more magazines can make this model almost as majestic, as the original itself.
