St. Michael the Archangel Church in Bielsk Podlaski

First written mention of St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Bielsk Podlaski dates back to 1563. But, probably, it was built even earlier. It quickly took over the status of a cathedral from the Church of the Most Holy Virgin Mary and was renamed the Cathedral of the Epiphany. After 1596, the parish adopted the Union of Brest, although as early, as the 17th century in the first half, the controversy over its recognition continued. In the seventies of the 18th century was returned to St. Michael's name. The current sanctuary was built in 1789 and a brick bell tower was built next to it. In 1834, an iconostasis was installed inside, and 5 years later the parish returned to the Orthodox faith. In the sixties of the XIX century two side iconostasis were installed in 1875, and the main iconostasis was rebuilt in 1875. In 1878 the interior was reworked in the so-called Russian-Byzantine style, and the bell tower was also rebuilt in 1913-1915. In the sixties of the XX century the brick bell tower was demolished in 1987 - 1989, three new presbyteries were added to the church.

A simple, beautiful model of a church, that, under the supervision of a more experienced modeler, can easily be assembled even by novice modelers, but it should not be one of the first more complex models.
