The castle was built in the 14th - 15th centuries during the reign of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania Kęstutis and his son Vytautas. By the way, Vytautas died in this castle in 1430. Trakai was then an important city in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In the 17th century, when castles began to lose their defensive importance, this one was also gradually abandoned and collapsed. Not without the help of the townspeople. During the interwar period, Polish historians tried to stop the further destruction of the castle, and during the Soviet era in 1951-1961, with the efforts of LSSR historians, it was restored and rebuilt.
We offer you to make a model of this castle. A simple, beautiful model, that is also suitable for beginner modelers, but requires attention and a lot of hard work, so we recommend, that these modelers do it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. When finished, it is sure to grace any modeler's collection. The publication is equipped with laser-cut cardboard details of the required thickness and mass-colored, which are recommended to be used instead of printed details.
