Strzelin Town Hall (and its tower) was built in the market square of Strzelin around the middle of 14th century. In 1520 - 1526 the Town Hall was rebuilt in the early Renaissance style. After the great fire of Strzelin in 1548, the Town Hall burned down and was rebuilt in 1564, but already in the Renaissance style. In 1593 a sun clock was installed on the south wall of the Town Hall. The town hall, like the city, was haunted by fires. After World War II, only burnt ruins remained, in the fifties the ruins were cleaned, the cellars were filled, and only the lower quadrangular base was left from the tower. However, the tower was later completely rebuilt and opened to visitors in 2011.
This is what this rather tall, uncomplicated, but demanding model of meticulousness and diligence, and a lot of work that will really decorate the collection of any modeler, depicts.
