The palace of the Golamb railway station was built in 1878. It was one of the stops on the Wistula railway line. The so-called "Wistula railway" was supposed to connect Mlawa, located on the Prussian border, and Kwvel station on the Brest-Kiev line. The station is 2.5 km away from Golamb. It is a two-floor wooden building with a quadrangular plan on a brick foundation. Covered with a gable tin roof, edged with boards. On the first floor there is a hall running along the entire length, the premises of the traffic controller on duty, the station master. The second floor is intended for living quarters. Golamb is now just a tiny stop. Near Golamb in 1943, from September 12 to 13, soldiers of a partisan unit blew up a German ammunition train.
A simple to assemble, but detailed model, perfect for even beginner modellers. You won't even have to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
