Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows on Hvězda Hill (Czech: Kaple Panny Marie Sněžné) is a chapel in the Czech part of the Table Mountains (Czech: Broumovska vrchovina) in the Broumovské Walls (Czech: Broumovské stěny) and belongs to the Broumov church group. The chapel is located on Hvězda hill (Polish: Gwiazda or Policka Gora), within the boundaries of the Czech protected landscape area Chráněna krajinná oblast Broumovsko "CHKO Broumovsko", in the central-eastern part of the Broumovsko border, which is this region of the Czech Republic, part of the Table Mountains, about 12 km north west of the Polish city of Radków. The Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows stands on the top of Hvězda Hill, on the edge of a rocky outcrop, at an altitude of 674 m above sea level. It was built according to K. I. Dienzehofer's project in 1733. Built by Othmar Zinke, abbot of the Benedictine monastery in Broumov. In 1787 by order of Emperor Joseph II due to the so-called Josephine reforms, the chapel was closed, it was intended to be sold or demolished, but due to lack of interest, it slowly began to collapse, so only the foundations of windows and doors and the bridge, connecting the rocks, remained. In the 1850s, Jan Nepomuctno Roter stayed on the mountain and, seeing the ruins of the chapel, decided to rebuild it. Thanks to many years of efforts, the chapel was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Consecrated in 1855. The walls were build of ash sandstone, in the shape of a five-pointed star, the branches of which ended in conical canopies, the building was topped by a dome-shaped roof with a round turret ending in a star. Architecturally, the chapel is integrated into the rocky environment, with which it blends perfectly. The chapel was built in the place, where in 1670 a cross with a gilded five-pointed star was erected to serve as a landmark for travelers.

A small, beautiful, not very complex, but rather monotonous in terms of gluing, a well designed and fairly finely detailed mockup of a beautiful chapel with a bridge, suitable for modellers of all experience. Only advanced beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There is a small stock of colors and a large stock of textures. The textual instructions (in Polish and Czech) are quite large and detailed, the graphical instruction - are small, but perfectly readable and detailed.
