St. Catherine's Church in the municipality of Slezské Rudoltice (Bruntál district) is a parish church built in 1871-1875 and is a Czech cultural monument. The first written mention of the Silesian Rudoltics dates back to 1255. The wooden church in this area was first mentioned in writings in 1671. There were two bells in the church, one was installed in 1557. In 1870 Archbishop's architect Gustav Meretta prepared a project for the building of a new church. The building of the neo-Romanesque church began in 1871, after demolishing the old church, and in almost the same place and in the same year, the firm of Krnov builder Ernst Latzel started building a new church. Building was completed in 1874, but finishing and sculptural work continued until 1875. The remains of the Hodik family were taken from the crypt of the old church with tombstones and moved to the crypt in the nave of the new church, which was consecrated in 1875. June 29. In 1932 electricity was installed in the church. In 1804 the cemetery around the church was abolished. St. Catherine's Church belongs to the Deanery of Krnov.

A small, uncomplicated, beautiful model for modelers of all experience, but beginners and less experienced modelers are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The textual instructions are small in Czech, German, English and Polish, the graphics are also small and quite confusing - too many "arrows' for one picture...
