The first Town Hall in Opalenica was built in the 17th century and was a wooden one, built in the center of the market square. In addition to the city government, it had prison facilities and a surveyor's office. The current Town Hall was built in 1897 and built of bricks in an eclectic style, according to the project of the city building supervisor V. Dolscius. The vicar's office used to stand on this site. The Town Hall is now home to the city government and the Civil Registry Office.

A fairly uncomplicated, small, well designed and detailed model, that would suit any experienced modeler, but a beginner modeler should be glue this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and should not be one of their first, more complex models You build. And the experienced, using one more magazine and photos of original building, can "squeeze" a lot out of this model.
