Initially the water supply networks of Nowy Tomyszl consisted of two water tanks, built in 1905-1910 and an administration building. The 30.8 m high tower with a water capacity of 100 m3 was built in 1913-1914, based on the project of the Carl Francke company from Bremen. The tower became part of the city's water supply system and played the role of a hydro-stat, where water was cleaned, stored and chlorinated. At first, the roof was covered with shingles and only in the 20th century in the sixties changed to can. There is a pumping station in the tower annex. The tower was used until 1993. Since 1994 a new 42-meter-high water tower with a water capacity of 1,500 m3 has been operating in the city, built next to its predecessor.
An uncomplicated, well-designed and moderately detailed model, that will appeal to modelers of all experience. This is a great first step into the world of paper modeling
