Not much is known about the beginning of the building of the Saint Mary's Church in Krakow. It is only clear, that, after sending Dominican monks there, in 1222 Bishop Ivo Odrzanski moved their parish from St. Trinity Church to Mary's Church. Since the parish treasury was already moved to the church, it suggests that already in the 13th century. In the 20th year the brick part of the church was completed. Its building began at the very beginning of the 13th century and was built until the Tatar attack in 1241. But then it was not yet completed. The nave part was built around the 14th century, in 20es. The model reproduces the image of the church, as it might have been in 1320 and is not without reason. Scientific research was carried out and all available archival and museum materials of the period were checked.
An uncomplicated, large, well designed and detailed model, suitable for almost any experience modeler, but a novice modeler should be glue this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Lots of stock colors and material textures make this simple model very lively, something more experienced modelers should do.
