In 1525-1529 the owner of the Klimkovice estate, Hynek I from Vrbno, built a church for faithful Catholics on a small hill west of the center of Klimkovice. At that time the wooden St. Catherine's Church was in the hands of evangelical believers. Over time the church was alternately owned by Evangelicals and Catholics. In 1681 the owners of the manor founded St. Catherine parish and Holy Trinity Church were given to the Evangelicals. In 1766 the cemetery was moved from the center of Klimkovice to the church and St. Trinity Church became a cemetery church. In the second half of the 18th century, in 1805, in the 1890s and in 1934 the church was structurally rebuilt. In 1973 burials were discontinued and the cemetery area was later turned into a park. The church has been renovated and is sometimes used for concerts and exhibitions by the city of Klimkovice.
A small, simple, well-designed and richly detailed model, perfect for a beginner modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
