In the Czech Republic, in the village of Vlčí You will find the wonderful St. Václav's Rotunda Chapel in the Romanesque style, which will amaze You with its exotic appearance. In 1893 the constructed building recalls the legacy of Byzantine architecture, which is also emphasized by the symmetrical, brightly colored masonry structure. Almost at the very end of the small village of Vlčí u Chlumčan is the original pseudo-Romanesque St. Wenceslas Chapel. The building has an interesting history. It was built on the site of a simple wooden bell tower in 1893 and built by the eight Sochor brothers as a tribute to their native village, the architect Eduard Sochor, who is known, for example, as the author of the romantic reconstruction of Kokořín or as the restorer of the Rakovnike gate in Prague, made a special contribution. Most of the building costs were covered by Čeněk Sochor, the altar painting was created by the academic painter Václav Sochor. The chapel is currently closed, but there is also a beautiful view from the outside.

A small, simple, colorful, well-designed and richly detailed model, perfect for a beginner modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The most difficult part, as in most models of sacred architecture, will be to make the domed roofs of the building and turrets.
