The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Szczecin Dambie (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) dates back to the 14th century and is the oldest church in Dambie, a suburb of Szczecin since 1948. Initially, the sanctuary was called St. Jacob's Church, was a small wooden building, but at the end of the Middle Ages it was rebuilt in the Gothic style, built of stone and bricks. In the 17th century the church tower was raised, increasing the peak of the roof. Enormous changes to the building took place in 1863, when most of the church burned down during a fire in the city. The German architect Karl Brecht was responsible for its reconstruction, who decided to rebuild it, but in a Neo-Gothic spirit, using the surviving parts of the church's foundations and walls. During the Second World War The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was destroyed, but was rebuilt quite quickly. It is worth noting, that this is one of the tallest churches in Poland and its tower is 75.6 meters high.
A large, well designed and fairly richly detailed model of a large, beautiful church, that captures the modern look of the building. Even a modeler with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, can glue the model perfectly. However, there is no rush and you will need to use all your knowledge, diligence, patience and skills. With a second magazine, this publication can be turned into an architectural model - a masterpiece, but this will require a lot of photos, patience and effort.
