The Church of Georgij the Victorious Martyr was built in 1493 (according to other sources - 1543) on the high shore of Lake Juksa. It was rebuilt and consecrated again in 1632, and in 1887 it was furnished with extensions on three sides. A monument of ancient wooden northern architecture. It is a column-type log building, made of pine logs with a pointed shingle roof and one turret. The two lower naves (altar and refectory) also have pointed roofs. The church was closed in 1937. During the Finnish occupation in 1941-1944, it did not work. The Finns, retreating, looted the treasures of the church, took away the icons, but the ancient iconostasis somehow survived. During the restoration and repair work in 1970, the roof of hewn boards was replaced with a shingled one, and the porch, demolished during the war, was rebuilt with a double-sided staircase. In 1993 a community of believers was restored in Juksovichi and the church was returned to them. Festive masses and other sacred rites are held there during church holidays.

A simple, but well-designed model of a small church, which even a novice modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will glue together without much difficulty. There is a reserve of textures.
