The Cathedral of the Ascension - the Orthodox cathedral in the city of Keme, a monument of wooden architecture of the 18th century, a monument of world significance. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, its architecture reflected the traditions of Russian folk art. The cathedral was built in 1711-1717 on the site of the burnt temple, dedicated to the victory over the Swedes in the Northern War. The cathedral was restored in 1950. In 2006 it was handed over for free use to the parish of the name of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Petrozavodsk and Karelia dioceses of the Keme Annunciation Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church.
A simple, well-designed, detailed model of a beautiful wooden church for modelers of all experience. True, the formation of domes and the correct gluing should cause problems for advanced beginners and modelers with little experience. Here, as in every job, they would definitely need the help of a more experienced colleague. Everything can be overcome and done if you take your time, work patiently, carefully and precisely.
