The Old Town Hall of Wrocław is recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings of the Gothic-Renaissance era in the city. Standing in the center of the city, the Town Hall was built in several stages over 250 years (from the end of the 13th century to the 16th century). It housed the city government and the court. In 1580 the clock started working in the Town Hall tower. Since 1808, the interior of the Town Hall was gradually abandoned and decayed. Since the old building no longer met the needs of the city government, it gradually moved to the New City Hall building, which was built nearby. The abandoned building continued to decay, but at the end of the 19th century, the first conservation works began, which continued until World War II. During the last days of the war, the Town Hall was badly damaged, but after the war it was rebuilt and fully restored. It now houses the board of the Wrocław City History Museum and all premises are open to the public.
The model is intended for modelers with little experience, so it is somewhat simplified and depicts the Town Hall, as it was in 2013. And for experienced ones, with two magazines, you can make just an architectural masterpiece or even something more.
