“BRDM-2” was built in the 20th century in the USSR in the early sixties. “BRDM”s were used in the military forces of about 50 countries, including Poland, which bought more than 400 of these machines. Three versions, differing in armament, were produced: reconnaissance, anti-aircraft, and anti-tank. In addition, these machines were modernized and manufactured by the Poles at the Military Mechanical Plant in Siemianowichi, Silesia. They had the engine replaced, the auxiliary drop wheels removed, much more comfortable, than the hatches, doors, armored mufflers and a rear spare wheel.
A simple, well-detailed model that, even under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, can be assembled even by a beginner modeler.
