In 1937, engineer Wsewold Jakimuk was entrusted with the design of a new fighter? Who named PZL.50 "Jastrząb". Construction work began on two prototypes, the first of which, PZL.50 / I, was completed in October 1938. In the middle of 1939, the production of the information series of "Jastrzab’s" was started. In the first days of the war, several unfinished PZL.50As were transported from PZL to Citroen and Renault plants on Cherniahowskaja Street in Warsaw. At the turn of 1939 and 1940, these planes were taken out by the Germans and probably destroyed. The first prototype PZL.50 / I was evacuated to Lwow, but never reached it - it crashed on September 6 due to an engine failure in the vicinity of Rawa Ruska.

The model depicts a PZL.50A fighter already painted with the camouflage and markings of one of the three fighter escadra's of the Polish Air Force, although this was not the case in reality. An uncomplicated, well-designed and richly detailed model, suitable for modelers of all experience, only advanced beginners and low-experience modelers should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and model without cockpit interior detailing, with an opaque cabin hood and undercarriage included. The model details everything, that is possible, but at the same time, it is not complicated. You can choose a more complex and simpler option - You can make separate control planes, the less experienced can simplify the detailing of the engine, although, it is not overloaded anyway.
