The Polish Air Force at the time of publication of this magazine (2012) had two types of fighters: Mig-29 and F-16C. The Mig-29 aircraft (Poland had single-seat Mig-29A and two-seat Mig-29UB training combat aircraft) was designed in the late 1970s of XXth century in the Soviet Union. Since 1989 these fighters began to replace the obsolete MiG-21 and MiG-23 in combat units. In Poland, until the distribution of the F-16C, they became the main weapon of fighter units. In 2012 they still used 31 units, all of which have now been handed over to the fighting Ukraine.

American multipurpose fighters F-16 were designed in 70es of the XXth century in order to replace older types of aircraft in the US AF and as a fighter-bomber addition to the previously designed pure fighter F-15 earlier versions of the aircraft. In 2006 Poland received 48 fighters of two versions of this type: single-seat F-16C "Block 52+" and two-seat F-16D "Block 52+". They were intended to replace Mig-29 fighters and Su-22M4K attack aircraft, which has now been successfully completed.

The models are designed on a scale of 1 : 50 and are, perhaps, the most complex in the "Micro-aviation" series. Mig-29 restores the machine with the serial number 15 of the 1st Tactical Aviation Escadre, based in Minsk Mazowiecki in the 2012 commemorative camouflage. The model can be "armed" with 4 R-60MK missiles and an additional fuel tank. The F-16c "Block 52+" model recreates the fighter with the serial number 4040 of the 31st Tactical Air Base in Krzesin. It was the first F-16 type fighter, delivered to the Polish Air Force. It can be "armed" with 2 AIM-120 AMRAMM missiles at the wingtips and 2 AIM-9X, as well as 4 JSOW cartridge containers under the wing and an additional fuel tank can be hung under the fuselage. The models are of medium complexity, so beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to stick them under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and, perhaps, not to make the cockpit equipment, transparent cabin cover, hanging weapons and make the undercarriage included. You need to try to do it - and maybe You will succeed... Antique publication.
