After a long period of trials and failures, serial production of a vertical takeoff and landing combat aircraft finally began in Great Britain in 1975. It could also take off and land with a small run - then it was possible to lift a larger payload. BAe "Sea Harrier" - an aircraft, designed to operate from aircraft carriers (and not only) and is designed to perform any tasks. They were used as fighter and strike aircraft in the Falklands War. During the short period of the conflict, "Harrier"'s pilots achieved more than 30 victories, among which were "Mirage", "Skyhawk" and "Delta Dager" aircrafts, which greatly increased the prestige of "Harrier". A little worse, due to the short operating range, the "Harrier" appeared in strike operations. A very important feature of these planes is the ability to quickly go from a low patrol of 400 km per hour to a much higher maximum speed of 1100 km per hour.
The model is classified as medium difficulty due to its rather elaborate fuselage shapes, well designed (for its time) and moderately detailed, but suitable even for advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. We recommend making the interior of the cabin, the released chassis and the hanging armament as an option. If it succeeds - we make a full version, if not - the cockpit glass is made opaque, the chassis is included, the armament is "fired" - we have completed the combat mission and are returning home...
