Landing ship

Landing ship - a class of military ships, designed to transport military equipment and personnel, capable of disembarking them on unequipped shores. The main advantage of specialized landing ships is the ability to disembark troops and unload cargo in unequipped coastal areas, beaches, shorelines, etc. For this they have a reinforced hull construction, a small draft and a flat bottom. In addition, landing ships are sometimes assigned the role of providing direct fire support to landing forces, for which they are usually equipped with artillery, anti-aircraft guns and missiles, and salvo fire launch systems (MRLS).

Medium-sized uncomplicated, moderately designed and detailed "manual" design model for modelers of any experience, only less experienced ones are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
