Rolls-Royce 40/50HP "Silver Ghost" is a high-class passenger car, designed and manufactured by the British company "Rolls-Royce". Created in 1905-1906 and was first presented to the public in 1907 in March. The Rolls-Royce 40/50HP was produced until 1926. A total of 7,874 units were produced. The well-known name "Silver Ghost"" was originally the actual name of the car with chassis number 60551, but soon spread to the entire series. Due to its high technical level, the "Silver Ghost" was considered one of the best cars in the history of the world automobile industry. V.I.Lenin had two "Silver Ghosts" at his disposal. One of them was equipped with a "Kegress" type tracked chassis - intended for movement on winter roads. Such a copy has been preserved and is at the "Rolls-Royce" dealership in Moscow, an exhibit of the State History Museum-Reservation in the suburb of Gorki Leninskiye, Moscow Region.
A well-designed and quite well-detailed model of a special car without cabin and engine compartment equipment, from the days of "manual" design. The model is intended for modelers of any experience, only less experienced ones are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The graphic instruction is quite large and detailed, the text - excellent. Antiquarian publication.
