The Focke-Wulf FW-189 "Uhu", often called "The Frame", was one of the best reconnaissance aircraft of World War II. It was mainly used close to the front line, from where it transmitted the most valuable information about the situation there. It was also used by artillery for the adjustment of fire, reported on the gathering places of the army and partisans, their weapons and the direction of movement. In July 1938 the first prototype FW-189V-1 took off for its first flight, which was sent to serial production in the spring of 1940. A total of 831 serial airplanes of all versions were produced between 1938 and 1944. including prototypes. A number of serial production variants of the FW-189 were produced: a personnel carrier, a night fighter version. Although it served as part of the Luftwaffe, the aircraft's damage resistance and ease of maintenance should be noted.

Although, it looks simple, this model is not - when it comes to the full version of the model with highly detailed cockpit equipment, undercarriage parts, fixed and outboard armament (4 bombs), the control plates are designed together with the main plates. Standard Luftwaffe camouflage from the Eastern Front, the model reproduces the appearance of a reconnaissance aircraft with the H1+EN markings of 5(H)12 Squadron in the summer of 1942 in the Poltava region, Ukraine. For beginners (not as one of the first models) and modelers with little experience, we recommend making the model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and without cockpit equipment, with opaque glasses, retracted landing gear and without hanging weapons - in the flight phase. The sheets are separate and with trimmed margins. Antiquarian publication.
