"Western River" was built in 1865 in New Orleans. Supported, along with other similar ships, regular communication between the US cities, located on the banks of the Mississippi and Missouri: New Orleans, Jefferson City, Natchez, Memphis, Louisville, Pittsburgh, St. Louis. It was a typical rivership of that period.
Despite the rather complex shapes of some of the details, the model is not one of the complicated ones, so it would be perfect for a modeler of any experience, except complete beginners. But modelers with little experience should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and this should not be one of the first, more complex models You build. Antiquarian publication.
