In 1939, planning for the occupation of Denmark and Norway began at the German headquarters. It was intended to use Junkers Ju-52 transport aircraft for this purpose, but it was feared, that due to the short range of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighters, they would become easy prey for enemy fighters. Another problem was that there were few suitable aerodromes to land and take off in Norway. Attempts have been made to solve the problem of protection by adapting the buoys to the ordinary Bf-109 and thus making it suitable for descending and emerging from the relatively calm waters of the fjords. But the first tests showed the inadequacy of the solution - the plane developed even 80 km / h. lower speed, reduced maneuverability, and almost halved the flight distance. Another 6 planes with more powerful engines were built, but after 4 months of testing, the program was terminated and the planes were handed over for dismantling.

A beautiful, not very complex, well-detailed and well-designed model for modelers of any experience, only beginners are better to assemble it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and this should not be one of the first more complex models you make. Antiquarian publication.
