The Northrop F-5E fighter has emerged as a result of the search for a universal aircraft, that is cheaper and easier to service and operate, but at the same time, uses the newest technologies. The two-sit version was the most used in all U.S. Air Forces (USAE, Navy, Marines) and other countries' Air Forces. The squadron of the fighter version of the fighter jet, which flew across the Pacific Ocean with refueling in the air, was used in combat operations in Vietnam. This squadron was used for a variety of tasks: fighter, reconnaissance, ground support with rockets and bombs fire. The combat performance of the F-5E was highly appreciated by the U.S. Air Force leadership. The high versatility of the aircraft - the aircraft was able to take off and land in aircraft carriers and sparsely equipped aerodromes – meant, that the fighter had been part of Air Forces for a long time in many countries, and in several countries it was even manufactured under license.
The model is uncomplicated, fairly well designed and detailed, but not overloaded. Therefore, even inexperienced modelers should glue it perfectly. Antiquarian publication.
