This middle range bomber and torpedo plane was built by “Bristol” company in 1938. It was designed primarily for operations at sea and had an air chamber at the bottom of the hull, that prolongs buoyancy on the surface of the water, when forced to land on the water, if necessary. The plane was equipped with life-saving appliances - an automatically sailing lifeboat on the left wing console near the fuselage. The planes were later equipped with radar equipment type ASV, which greatly increased “Beaufort's” effectiveness in fighting enemy submarines. Production of the aircraft was ended in 1942 with 965 aircraft. 10 Coast Guard divisions is armed in planes of this type.
The aircraft, the model of which can be glued from the publication, served in the 22nd RAF division. He was shutten during a reckless attack on German armored ships in the port of Brest in April 1941. A well-designed medium-detail model of medium complexity, suitable for modelers of any experience, should only less experienced modelers recommend under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Antiquarian edition.
