The plane was built in the 20th century. in the late thirties as a two site fighter to destroy enemy bombers. For the first flight the prototype took off in August 1939. And at the turn of 1939-1940, “Defiant’s” began to be introduced to combat units. At first they achieved a number of victories due to the great surprise of the German pilots. The Germans loved to attack enemy planes from the tail and top, and the “Defiant” was the most armed, with 4 machine guns. But he had no weapons in front. The Germans quickly orientated themselves and then the reverse process began. The British then retrained these fighters to night fighters, where they continued to successfully hunt down enemies.
A simple model even without cab equipment, perfect for even novice modelers. Antiquarian edition.
