The British airplane - an amphibious aircraft, produced since 1933 and intended for use in civil aviation. However, the war of 1939-1945 changed the fate of this aircraft and it became the main deck aircraft of the Royal Navy's large warships. They were launched from the ship's catapult or from the surface of the water. Used as a reconnaissance or shipboard artillery fire adjustment aircraft, anti-submarine warfare and some other missions. In the Coast Guard it flew from land bases (it could take off and land from both land routes and the surface of the water) and was used as a maritime rescue, search and rescue aircraft for downed pilots, operating in the English Channel and the North Sea. After the war it was used as a plane for whaling ships.

A simple, well-designed model with no internal hardware, which will be perfectly glued by a modeler of any experience, we only recommend beginners and less experienced modelers to glue it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Antiquarian publication.
