The river cutter KU-30 was built at the Pinsk River Shipyard in 1938-1939 by order of the Pinsk Flotilla. During the construction of the ship the very light material "alupolon" was used, which is produced on the basis of aluminum at the Metal Rolling Company, located in Tchechovichi - Dziedzicy. During the September campaign, together with other ships of the Separate Vistula River division in Modlin, they shot down 3 German planes. During the defense of Modlin bridges from air raids on September 21 - 24, 3 more enemy planes were shot down. After the capitulation of the Modlin fortress on September 29 the crew of the KU-30 sank it in the Bugonarva River. Due to the material, used in the construction, the Germans organized a search for it and in the summer of 1940 it was raised, taken to Germany and handed over for research. The further fate of the cutter is unknown.

A small, seemingly simple, but perfectly designed model, even with the engine compartment detailing. And where else is the paired machine gun the size of a big fly. There will be a job to do even for experienced people. For advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, we advise assemble it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague - it will be not only easier, but also more fun.
