HM - 300 type river tugs were built in 1953 at the “River Facilities Construction Bureau” in Wrocław. The prototype ship “Jaroslaw” was built at the “Glogow River Shipyard” and sailed on the Odra River, but was later transferred to “Bydgoszcz Shipping”, where it was renamed “Notec”, which is the name given to the entire series. These tugs were small, light in construction, high in power and, most importantly, low in draft. The second ship in the series went to Gdansk, where it was loaded onto a cargo ship and set sail for the USSR. 7 of 20 “HM – 300” ships built, were exported to the USSR. The tug “Brda” was launched in 1956 and sailed from Bydgoszcz from 8 November 1956 to 31 December 1977. Cut in 1978.
A simple model, that requires attention and diligence and "eats up" a lot of work for novice modelers, but not one that can be assembled as the first model in life. The most interesting thing is that once you turn on your imagination and have visual information about this boat, even those experienced with this model would have something to do. The frame parts are laser cut from 1 mm cardboard.
