The series of canon ships was created, based on the project "Ersh", which was built between 1873 and 1876 at the “New Admiralty Shipyard”. A series of four ships was built. The building of the “Groza” began in 1879 and in July 1880 was launched. The ship had good maritime characteristics and reacted very evenly to the toss. In 1887, hydro-graphic measurements of the Abo schers were made from the deck of this ship. Served until 1907 when sold for cutting.
The rather small model of the small ship, but its assembling process is greatly facilitated by the many excellent assembly drawings.
