In 1941, by order of the Reich Board, work began on the design of a universal fishing cutter for the Fisheries Board, that also met the requirements of Kriegsmarine. Seven versions of the cutter have been designed and the largest one has been selected for construction - 24 m long. Initially, 100 cutters were ordered, but 612 were built and they were in several versions. Escort and submersible vehicles marked UJ, trawlers M, patrols V, non-specialized - KFK. These cutters served in all European waters until the end of the war. After the war, use for trawling trade routes. This process lasted until 1948, after which these loaves were taken over by the United States, Great Britain and the USSR. One cutter of this type, only significantly rebuilt, also served in the restored Lithuanian Navy, where it received the name “Lokys” ("Bear") and the designation H-23.
Uncomplicated, small, model, well designed and richly detailed. We recommend even for modelers with little experience, but it is better for them to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
