The activity of the cabotage fleet in Poland began to develop, when two dry cargo ships of the same type M/S "Emilia" and M/S "Flora" joined the line-up (at the end of 1967). Initially both ships were to be used only in Polish territorial waters. But due to the small interest, the owners directed them to Western European lines. M/S "Emilia" was designed at the Inland Waterway Design and Research Center in Wrocław. The ships were built by the Wrocław River Shipyard. These ships had a one propeller, were single-deck seagoing ships with a mechanical engine, designed to transport dry, bulk and mass cargo. Ship hulls are steel. Crew quarters, power plant, wheelhouse located at the rear. The ships were characterized by excellent lateral stability, both, when sailing with ballast and when fully loaded. In the second half of the 80s of the 20th century both ships were written off and given away for scrapping.

The model is very complex, well designed and richly detailed, designed for intermediate and advanced modelers only. You can glue together a model of the ship, as it was in the 1970s - the period of the most intensive use. In the model it is possible to open the cargo hatches and the holds to fill the cargo, packed in boxes, and the control cabin with full equipment.
