Model of Soviet pusher RBT type (project 378) raid tug. A large series of these ships were built in the 1950s and 1960s, many of which are still in operation. The tugboat is intended for operation in ports and raids, towing all types of ships, can be used as a light icebreaker. It can overcome 20-25 cm thick continuous ice, while swimming and up to 40-50 cm by ramming - by swimming on the ice and breaking it with the weight of the ship. The ship is adapted for transportation on road and railway platforms. At least, one tugboat of this type was used in Soviet times and in Klaipėda port, unfortunately, I have no information about its owner and its use in the already free Lituania.

The model is simple, large scale. Lots of assembly drawings, known author - shouldn't be a problem with gluing. It may be recommended for beginners, but this does not mean, that the model is only for beginners. Even experienced modelers will find a lot of interest in it - the large scale combined with the small size of the model allows You to modify and remake a lot to Your liking. Or assemble it as is and it will also fit perfectly into Your collection. Well designed and richly detailed (there's even cockpit equipment), a colorful model for modellers of all experience. True, beginners and less experienced modelers are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and to simplify something. Beginners will have to decide whether to do the interior of the cabin or not - we recommend doing it: it will work - GREAT, if it doesn't work - we make the glasses opaque. It is possible to try to make a "Lituanian" version of the model, but for that You will have to get tired of searching for information, and the color scheme, as far as I remember, should not have been significantly different from the details in the magazine. Some details are printed with double-sided printing, there is a considerable stock of colors, excellent graphic instructions, textual - small and only supplementing the drawings - in English, Polish, Russian and German.
