The keel of the patrol ship SKR-112 (or frigate) was laid in April 26, 1967 at the Kaliningrad shipyard "Jantar" (factory number 191). Launched on August 15, 1967 and added to the list of ships of the USSR Navy on December 1, 1968. It was put into use on May 30, 1968 and on 11/06/1968 was accepted into the Baltic fleet. On September 21, 1968 he was transferred to the Black Sea Fleet and in 1968 in autumn, between exchanging the fleets, he sailed around Europe from Baltijsk to Sevastopol. From August 30, 1969 to January 31, 1970, while on combat duty in the Mediterranean War Zone, he conducted a combat mission to assist the Egyptian Armed Forces. From May 27, 1980 to October 2, 1981, in "Sevmorzavod", named after Ordzhonikidze in Sevastopol, underwent moderate modernization. In 21 July, 1992 SKR-112 raised the Ukrainian flag and moved from the Crimean naval base (Novoozernoye) to Odessa - with the intention of joining the Ukrainian Navy. Attempts by the Russian command with other ships and aircraft to interfere with the actions of the SKR-112 were futile. After the ratification of the agreements on the division of the fleet, the ship officially passed to Ukraine. In 31 December, 1993 it was struck from the fleet lists. SKR-112 was scrapped and cut up in the summer of 1996.

From this magazine it is possible to assemble a model with the body number 815 or U132 (there are parts of the sides for both variants). The model is small, of medium complexity, well designed and quite richly detailed, suitable for intermediate to advanced modelers. But, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be perfectly assembled by both an advanced beginner and a modeler with little experience, using the accessories, of which there are many made for this particular model. There is a solid stock of colors, where needed, the details are double-sided printed, there are details, printed with metallic bronze paints. Graphical instructions are excellent, textual instructions - general provisions and a description of several more complex nodes in Ukrainian, Polish, German, English.
