The history of the creation of the project "7" goes back to the beginning of the 1930s, when Soviet constructors were given the task of creating a destroyer, superior to foreign analogues in terms of armament and speed and a relatively small water capacity. In the final version, the destroyer had a standard water capacity of 1,548 tons, and a total of 2,111 tons. In order to ensure a sufficiently high speed - 38 knots - the ship's hull was given high-speed hulls with an unusually high length-to-width ratio: more than 10:1. Destroyer "Razumny" ("Smart") - one of the thirteen "seventh" of the Pacific Ocean, the names of which, unlike the destroyers of other fleets, began with the letter R. Its keel was laid at the Nikolaev shipyard in 1936 under the name "Prochnyj" ("Sturdy"). After building, the ship was dismantled and transported by railway to the Far East, where in 1939 in June is lowered into the water and named "Razumny". It was put into operation only in 1941 in October and on the ship, intensive preparations for future battles immediately began: training cruises, anti-submarine attack training, shooting exercises. Then, in the first autumn of the war, the ship's crew did not yet know, that they would have to fight in the Far North... During the war, "Razumny" repeatedly had to fight enemy submarines. His combat record includes at least two enemy submarines sunk. One of them was destroyed in 1943, in mid-November, and the other in 1944. December 8 a series of depth charges.

The model is painted in black-white, broken camouflage, typical of a WWII ship of the Northern Fleet of the USSR. The model is well detailed and well designed. Screws and some parts are printed with "metallic" bronze paint. Colors reserve are not in stock. The model is intended for intermediate and advanced modelers only. The graphic instruction is good, but some of the drawings are very small, the textual instruction - only general notes and in Russian, English, German and Polish.
