"Zhemchug" class armored cruisers - a series of deck-armored cruisers of the II rank, built in Russian shipyards, according to the updated project of the cruiser "Novik". They adopted the general layout and shape of their predecessor, but had enhanced armament and were slower. Two ships were built: "Zhemchug" and "Izumrud". Both ships belonged to the Second Pacific Escadre and survived the Battle of Tsushima safely. The keel of "Zhemchug" was laid on 01/06/1902, launched on 08/14/1903 and put into service on 09/09/1904. In 1914, October 15 he was sunk by the cruiser "Emden" in Penang. The keel of "Izumrud" was laid on 01/06/1902, launched on 09/10/1903, and entered service on 09/09/1904. On May 19, 1905, the crew blew up the cruiser in Vladimir Bay to prevent it from being captured by the enemy.

Well-designed and richly detailed mid-sized ship models for intermediate and advanced modelers. Most of the detailed sheets are completely double-sided printing, there is no color reserve, the print quality is excellent. There are no textual instructions, the graphics - excellent and detailed. The appearance of the ships of 1905 is reproduced. It is possible to glue one of the two ship models optionally, although the difference is only the two rear parts of the sides.
