In 1938 the building of a factory was started on the southern edge of Petrozavodsk, which in 1939 was named the Machine Building Company "Sieviernaja točka" ("Northern Point"). After the liberation of the city from the Germans in August 1944, the reconstruction of the factory began. In September 1945 the factory was renamed Shipbuilding Factory No. 789. One of the tasks, set for the factory, was the building of fishing boats. The first ship, built at the factory, was a composite motor-sailing fishing boat of the 365 project, the displacement of which reached 95 tons, the crew consisted of 12 people, the ship was designed for fishing in the northern seas. The structure of the ship was metal, the hull and deck cladding were wooden. Constructions, glued with special resin-based adhesives, were widely used in shipbuilding for the first time. On July 27, 1947 the first ship of the project, named "Albatros", was ceremonially launched. In May 1948, after completing the test cycle, the motorboat went fishing in the White Sea. The boat was actively used in the north as a drifter-seiner and a small trawler - to perform the second function, the rear business area was dismantled - thus increasing the ship's stability. The bot was great in control and kept the course well. Among the shortcomings, that became apparent during operation, it is possible to note the small area of the fishing deck, the insufficient view to the rear area and the fact, that the winch, used in fishing, did not have a reverse gear. The project was so successful, that some of the ships of the 365 and 365bis projects were converted into border guard motorboats or pilot ships, armed with two DShK machine guns.

A small, but well designed and highly detailed model of a fishing boat for intermediate to advanced modelers. It is true, that working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, simplifying some nodes and abandoning some very small details, without making a spread out sailing equipment, this model can be glued together by advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, but it will not be easy. Some details are double-sided printing, the sails and flag are also double-sided printing on thin paper. There is a considerable stock of colors.
