"Odys" - Polish H2500 project tug

"Odys" (IMO: 7937965, MMSI: 261000580, callsign: SQLU) is a modified H2500-type harbor tug, designed by the "Prorem" Marine Repair Yards design and technology office and built at the Gdynia Naval Shipyard in the Port of Gdynia. 1996-2011 the tug belonged to "WUŻ" – Shipping and Port Services Gdynia Co. Ltd. In September 2011 the company and all its assets were taken over by "Fairplay B.V." from Rotterdam. Since 2015 March tug is the property of "Fairplay Towage Polska Sp. z o. O. Sp. K". Among the most important events in the life of the tugboat, the following should be noted: 27.02 hrs. – 14/03/1988 – together with the tugs "ROSOMAK", "NAPTUNIA", "ARGUS" and the floating crane "KRAB", the container ship "INOWROCŁAW" was towed from the shoal near Cape Skagen. 2000-10-03 - a collision, that occurred while occupying the lobby of "TARPOON CLIPPER".

The Polish tug model in appearance of 1980 can be made from this magazine. The model is very complex due to the abundance of small parts, well designed and richly detailed, intended for intermediate and advanced modelers only. Where necessary, the parts are double-sided printed, some parts are printed with bronze "Metallic" type paint. There is a small stock of colors. There are templates, according to which some parts can be made from wire, but a paper version is also provided. The control cabin equipment is fully detailed.
