"Aconit" - a unique corvette, created for the French Navy during the Cold War and operated from 1973 to 1997. She was named after the corvette "Aconit", which fought in the Free French fleet during World War II. "Aconit's" keel was laid at the "Arsenal de Lorient" shipyard in 1968. March 22, launched in 1970. March 7, started service in 1973, March 30. Originally located in Toulon, in 1975 transferred to Brest, in 1974 on January 1, the shipboard number was changed from F703 to D609. In 1988 it was reclassified in the F65 type frigate. She was supposed to remain in service until 2004, but in 1997 February 27 she was removed from the service lists as part of the fleet reduction program. In 2010 was in the French naval "cemetery" at Lanveoc, waiting to be cut up.
The model You will glue recreates the 1973 "Aconit" Corvette appearance. It is rather complicated due to the abundance of small parts. Where necessary, the details are printed with double-sided printing, some details are printed with bronze "Metallic" type paint. There is a small stock of colors.
