Between 1916 and 1919 84 M-type trawlers (Minensuchboot) were built for the German Navy. They were built in 12 different shipyards, so the ships of each shipyard differed in both hull dimensions, equipment and armament. The keel of "M - 54" was laid in 1916 at the Bremen shipyard "Bremer Vulkan", it was launched on September 14, 1916 and entered service on October 14, 1916. After the war, like most of the surviving German anti-mine ships, it had to decontaminate the mines, laid by it, and in 1921 deleted from the service lists on June 13. On April 29, 1922 sold to the Hamburg firm for 1,100,000 marks and cut. One ship of this type - "M - 59" was purchased to Lithuania, where it served as a training ship of the Naval Forces and was named "Presidentas Smetona". Latvians had also purchased one ship of this type "M - 68" and called it "Virsaitis". After the occupation they were both included in the USSR Navy Baltic Fleet, where ours received the name "Koral" and sank in the last days of World War II after hitting a sea mine.

A simple, well-designed and detailed model of a small ship, suitable for a modeler of almost any experience, but a novice modeler should glue this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and should not be one of the first, more complex models You build. The publication is equipped with laser-cut 1 mm cardboard frame parts.
