The project of a unique combat ship with hydrofoils (code "Sokol", according to the NATO classification - "Mukha" class) - a series of small guard ships (corvettes). Their construction began in 1987 at the "More" shipbuilding factory in Feodosia. In order to verify the correctness of the design decisions made, an experimental small guard ship of project 1141 (code "Sokol") was built. The experimental MPK was developed by the Zelenodolsk Design Bureau on the orders of the Navy. The keel of MSL of the 3rd rank with factory number 801 was laid in the stack of Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant "Krasny Metallist" on 28.07.1974, launched on 26.10.1975, accepted into the fleet on 17.02.1978 - included in the Black Sea Fleet for trials for operation. The serial ships of project 11451, which were created under project 1141, also had the code name "Sokol". The construction of serial ships of the "Sokol" type of project 11451 has been carried out at the Feodosia Shipyard "More" since 1982. It was planned to build a large series of such ships, but , after the collapse of the USSR, only 2 ships were built under project 11451 - MPK-215 in 1988 and MPK-220 in 1989. Both ships served in the Black Sea Fleet, when it was divided in 1997, they went to the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation .

A fairly complex, well-designed and richly detailed model of the Project 11451 Small Guard Ship "Vladimirec", aimed mainly at intermediate and advanced modelers. However, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, both a beginner and a modeler with little experience will make this model perfectly, but there should be no rush. And this should not be Your first model of greater complexity, some nodes can be simplified a little. The level of detail is sufficiently high. The edition has pages with double-side printing, there is a solid stock of colors, excellent graphic instructions.
