The ironclad CSS "Fredericksburg" was built in Richmond, Virginia. The keel was laid in 1862, it began service in March 1864. It was active on the James River from mid-1864 until the end of the Civil War. In 1865, when the Confederates left Richmond, the ship was destroyed by the crew.

A simple, but well-designed model, that accurately reproduces the appearance of the ship, suitable even for modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There is a reserve of colors. Where necessary, details are double-sided printed.
