„Raketa“ – the Soviet/ Russian Project 340P river fire-fighting diesel-ship

Project 340P river fire-fighting diesel-ships "Raketa" - fire-fighting modification "Raketa-P" with two fire-fighting latrines and water and air-foam protection systems. The "shooting" distance is 90 meters, the amount of water supplied is 800 m3 per hour. In 2003 the last "Raketa-P" was decommissioned - the ship was badly damaged during the rescue operation. In 2011, after the repair work, the ship was built as an exhibit at the training base of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in St. Petersburg.

The model is well detailed, with cockpit equipment. Although small, it is quite complex, so it is more suitable for intermediate and advanced modelers. However, when working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, even an advanced beginner modeler will assemble this model.
